

STRUCTURAL DESIGN
We offer structural design consultancy for all stages of the design process. We are committed to designing reliable and economical structures. Using our purpose-developed software and modern design approaches, we achieve the best design solutions.
We specialise in the design of engineering structures, earthquake-resistant design and design of complex structural details. For more demanding projects, at a client's request, we also offer design of structures based on the target (acceptable) probability of occurrence of a limit state and based on the designated structural damage in the event of an earthquake.

STRUCTURAL RETROFITTING
SPEKTRAL uses state-of-the-art knowledge in the field of seismic engineering to design retrofitting solutions for vulnerable structures. Special attention is given to the retrofitting of industrial and commercial precast buildings. We use specially designed structural elements known as seismic restrainers, developed in collaboration with the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodesy, University of Ljubljana. SPEKTRAL obtained a licence from the University of Ljubljana for the exclusive marketing of this invention.

SEISMIC ASSESSMENT, FRAGILITY AND
RISK ANALYSES
As seismic engineering specialists, our expertise lies in predicting the structural response during seismic or other dynamic events using advanced computer simulations. We conduct seismic fragility analyses following the latest guidelines and handle all steps of seismic risk assessments. Additionally, we delve into seismic soil-structure interaction analyses, which are crucial for designing or assessing the vulnerability of particularly important facilities. Our specialization extends to selecting and modifying ground motion records, gathering information about seismic hazards specific to the structure’s location and performing nonlinear dynamic analyses.



INVESTIGATION OF LOAD-BEARING STRUCTURE
At SPEKTRAL, we perform experimental investigations of structural systems to determine their mechanical response. Our work involves assessing the dynamic properties of structures through ambient vibrations measurements (AVM). Additionally, we utilize various non-destructive and destructive testing methods.
